What does "P4.81" mean for an LED screen?
+
"P" stands for Pixel Pitch — the distance in millimeters from the center of one pixel to the center of the neighboring pixel. A lower P number means a finer, higher-resolution display. For example, P4.81 means each pixel is 4.81mm from its neighbor. Finer pitches like P1.53 are best for close viewing indoors; larger pitches like P10 are used for outdoor billboards viewed from a distance.
What's the difference between indoor and outdoor LED displays?
+
There are three key differences: (1) Environment — outdoor displays are weatherproofed, indoor displays are not. (2) IP Rating — indoor displays are typically IP31; outdoor displays start at IP54 and go up to IP68 in our T960B model. (3) Brightness — indoor displays output 1,000–2,000 nits for controlled lighting; outdoor displays need 3,000–7,000 nits to compete with direct sunlight.
Are your outdoor displays IP rated?
+
Yes. All our outdoor products carry at minimum IP65 (dust-tight, protected against water jets). Our T960B model is rated IP68 — suitable for near-total submersion — and is ideal for harsh coastal or high-rainfall environments. Our sales team can advise on the right IP rating for your installation location.
What control systems are compatible with TCXLED products?
+
All TCXLED products are compatible with NovaStar and ColorLight control systems — the two industry-standard platforms for professional LED display management. Both systems support brightness control, color calibration, multi-screen management, and scheduling. Additional control systems can be supported on request.
Can X Series panels be built as a curved LED wall?
+
Yes. Most X Series panels support both concave and convex curved configurations. The standard curving range is ±10° to ±15° per panel, depending on the model. For tighter curves or non-standard configurations, contact our technical team. Special curving locks are available as an accessory.
How does data flow through an LED panel?
+
TCXLED panels support data input from both the top and bottom of the cabinet. This dual data path design means that if one data connection is interrupted, the display continues operating — an important reliability feature for live events and mission-critical installations.
What is your lead time?
+
Standard orders ship within approximately 10 business days from order confirmation. For large-volume OEM orders or custom configurations, lead time may vary. We provide production progress updates throughout the process. Expedited production is available — contact your sales representative for details.
How is the price calculated?
+
Pricing is calculated per square meter and depends on the pixel pitch, LED lamp type, and Drive IC selected. A P1.53 indoor display will cost more per square meter than a P10 outdoor display. Your sales representative will provide a full breakdown based on your project specifications, including cabinet count, control system, and accessories.
Can you produce OEM for us?
+
Yes. TCXLED specializes in OEM production for large-volume clients. We can supply products under your brand with custom packaging, labels, and documentation. OEM partnerships require minimum order quantities — please contact sales to discuss requirements.
Can TCXLED make custom sizes?
+
For LED curtain (flexible) products, we can achieve very close to exact dimensions by adjusting the data configuration. For rigid cabinet panels, the cabinet size is fixed, but overall screen dimensions can be customized by selecting the number of cabinets. Our team will calculate the closest achievable dimensions for your target screen size.
What is the warranty policy?
+
All TCXLED products carry a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery. During the warranty period, TCXLED provides technical support, replacement parts, and after-service. We also provide tech parameter advice, configuration guidance, and environmental factor assessments. Each order includes 2% spare parts for on-site maintenance.
What if a pixel or module is damaged?
+
Each order ships with 2% spare parts (modules, cables, etc.) for field replacement. For issues covered under warranty, contact our support team first — we can often guide repairs remotely via video call. If the unit needs to be returned, we coordinate with you on the most convenient service location.
What is "aging testing" and why does it matter?
+
Aging testing simulates extended operation under working conditions before the product ships. It's the most important step in ensuring long-term LED display reliability. By running displays through accelerated aging cycles, we identify any early-life component failures — so they don't happen in the field. Every TCXLED product undergoes aging testing before shipment.
Can I stand or climb on the back of an LED panel?
+
No. LED panels are not designed to support body weight. Climbing on panels risks damaging the structure, dislodging LED modules, and serious personal injury. If climbing access to a display is required for maintenance, use proper scaffolding or a lift platform. Always wear PPE and consult the installation manual.
Can the stacking connector support the weight of panels above?
+
No. Stacking connectors are for data and power connections only — not for load bearing. To hang or fly LED panels, use the dedicated tapped rigging holes on the back of the cabinet and proper rated rigging hardware. Always consult our support team before designing a fly system.
